You can not make yourself righteous before God

You cannot make yourself righteous before God.

"Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness ; Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you.
"You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped injustice, You have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your way, in your numerous warriors..."

Isaiah 49:4 and many more. How about you set upon searching the Scriptures on your own like the people in Acts 17:11 "for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."
