On Friday August 13, 2010, I visited Vicksburg. This visit gave me the chance to see the river that gave its name to the state of Mississippi. The view point is a symbolic place in the Civil War in American history. There is a canon to help people remember that historical event.
Vicksburg is at about 45min to 1 hour from Brandon.
